PDF tools with an architectural opinion

Filozy is an independent browser-first PDF toolkit built around one constraint: document bytes should not need to leave the device for ordinary PDF work.Last updated August 27, 2026
The idea

Privacy should be a property of the system, not a promise attached to an upload form. Filozy therefore runs its currently live document operations in browser memory and makes exceptions visible before a person chooses a file.

What Filozy is

It is a static web application and open project for organizing, converting, editing, securing, and signing PDFs. Its interface is built to show pages before destructive choices, explain weak or unchanged results, and connect compatible tools without asking for the same file again.

What makes it different

What it is not

Filozy is not yet a mature commercial suite. It has no native apps, collaboration workspace, multilingual interface, support desk, uptime agreement, certificate-backed signing service, or cloud document store. Larger established products are a better choice when those capabilities matter more than local browser processing.
